Well Amanda started Judo this year along with my son Chase and they both received their yellow belts before the Cornhusker State Games in July. Both Amanda and Chase complete in Judo which was held at Roseberry Studio in Lincoln, Ne and they both came home with GOLD medals. So They must be learning something from the classes. It only took Amanda two points to win her gold medal and Chase it took him three points. It really was a boost for both of them.

For those of you who know that my daughter Amanda does gymnastics, she did her State gymnastics this weekend in Omaha the 12th of April. She received 2nd place on the Vault, 3rd on the Bars, 5th on the Beam, 2nd on the Floor and 2nd all around. She competed against 11 other girls in her age group. So I think she did very well and I'm very proud of her. So when you see her with the Whorlwinds doing flips and walk overs you will know why because of her gymnastics. about me
Well, what can I say.... I have been a cosmetologest for about 28 years. I never wanted to do hair since I cleaned my mothers beauty shop but found I liked being with the people and making them feel good about themselves. Then about eleven years ago I found bellydancing. I have always wanted to bellydance but thought I would never be good at it. I enjoy the dance and the favorite music I can dance too. Bellydance has really let me enjoy the different styles of music that can go along with it and the costumes that we all can wear. Then shortly decided to make costumes for the renaissance faires. I go through ren faire withdrawal during the winter. I get to go to several ones throughout the midwest to sell my wares. I have found friends with all the troupes at the faires and found them to be beautiful women. By the spring I'm anxious to get back to those friends even though it takes alot of work putting up and tearing down the tent. What I cherish most is the dances and time spent shared with the other bellydancers at the faires. It is like a family to me. Well I guess I've said enough and hope my dancing and friends carries me through my older years.
