I'm an outgoing person who loves to bellydance and hang out, talk "shop" at the Bellydance Shop, and get onstage whenever possible. ;) I love to watch bellydance videos and performances like some football enthusiasts might watch replays from a big game. :) My favs are Eva Cernik, Meera, Rachel Brice, and new favorite The Indigo (thanks Jenny! ;) ). I also love hanging out with my bellydance buds. I'm a paralegal by trade and try to keep the happy smile that this dance gives me on my face at work. :-)

Does anybody know where there are desi (Bhangra) parties in Charlotte? I would really like to go to one but don't know where to find them! :) I would appreciate any hints.

If you weren't at the hafla Tuesday night at Sofram, you definitely missed out! The lovely Sanura hosted the event and I performed a sassy cabaret-style tune with a magical touch of Turkish. :-)

I'll be performing at the Charlotte Bellydance Meetup this coming Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 7:00pm. It's going to be a fabulous night, filled with zilling, lots of gold, and rakin' music. Hope I get to see you there! :-)
