Jose, the Dregs of the Bust and I will be hosting "Jolly Ho" at the Powerhouse Friday night Sept. 15. We have a pirate theme and fun begins at 9 p.m and concludes around midnight. Some of the fun activities include shipwrecked boys tied to a mast, a Walk the Plank event, cute go-go cabin boys, a poop deck, a raffle, and a pirate booty contest. The proceeds of this night will benefit PAWS. Hope to see you then.

We wanted to go outside somewhere and take our lunch on this sunny Sunday. We kicked around going to Lake Temescal in Oakland but instead wanted to go somewhere closer. I had been at Crystal Springs Resevoir on a walk years ago and since it is only 5 minutes from our place....that's where we would go. FYI Crystal Springs is a series of man made lakes that hold San Francisco's water supply further down the peninsula.

This was a busy weekend for us that started on Thursday night. Maybe it started on Tuesday night when we went to the Men in Gear Party at the P-house.

Thursday night was the Rough Trade party co-hosted by me and Troy An. This is an annual party going back 5 years. It was fun but a lot of work. It was a fundraiser for STOP AIDS. I entertained the crowd with a few porn stars from Raging Stallion and they were great with the crowd.

Sat. night July 15 Jose and I went to the twice monthly Men in Gear event at the Eagle Tavern. Luckily it was a somewhat warm night for SF so the patio was comfortable without a leather jacket. Men in Gear is for leather, rubber or fetish wearing men to just hang out. There are no speeches or any fundraising for a change. I would say over 100 men were on the patio. We didn't do as much this year for Pride weekend as in the past. Jose was with the Balloon Magic contingent during the Parade. Jose's balloon pic is attached to this posting.

I had to work for a few hours on Sunday so I that put a kink into most of the day activities. We did manage a couple of drinks at the P-house Sunday night. We met up with our buddy Michael T. and headed over to the return of Pleasuredome.
