I love making you smile. I love meeting someone new. I love learning. I question. I blaspheme the national religion of the US, which is materialism.

I'm an engineer for a tiny firm that designs waste water treatment and reuse systems. We like to make buildings greener. I'm thankful that much of my work takes me outdoors.

I usher at a big multi-ethnic church Sunday mornings, and am "Minister of Hospitality" at a small arty drumming church Sunday evenings.

I love to cook, and typically that's veggie food. But I also enjoy the occasional animal flesh --preferably from a BBQ joint somewhere in South L.A. or a taco truck on Alvarado .
