Perhaps they're better left unsaid...

Gratitude is a verb...

If you could change a persons life... would you?

Maybe for their entire life, maybe even the rest of their life or even just temporarily.

Would you?

*disclaimer* this message is not meant to boast nor toot any horns!
It is meant as a reminder and/or challenge (if you feel so inclined)

I am a consumer, I WANT EVERYTHING often!

Sometimes I have moments of clarity however and realize I have everything I need and then some. How bout you?

Being born healthy and in the "land of the free" I am "entitled" to things others are not and that just seems strange to me.

I was born and am healthy enough to look people in the eye and smile without shame.

I have been blessed with the right to an education of my choice.

I am healthy enough to work/provide a decent living for myself.

I have always, no matter where I was on this journey had enough clean water to drink and bathe in, ALWAYS!

What about those not as fortunate as I/us?

These are tugging at my heart strings and we are stepping up.

Will you join us?

one operation for one child is just a minimal fee of $240.

I have been pondering this, trying to figure out how to inform/challenge w/o coming off as being boastful/full of ego. That is not my intent! My intent is to; inform, remind and yes even challenge you to meet our contributions if you feel so inclined.
Message me privately if you are interested.
I just cant stop thinking that if one household could touch/change so many lives then what could 10 or more housholds do together?

Thank you, Leslie :-) I agree with everything you said here. It is good to be reminded about where we stand compared to other people around the world. I'll click on some of those links you provided. $240 for an operation seems like pennies compared to what I will spend on things like music or household items.

I have been debating a contribution to this cause for a few weeks. I might not be able to send hundreds but I will probably donate 50.
It can change a persons life for the rest of their life and in that aspect it is a small thing to do that has a big outcome.
