I am a 34 year old late returning student to ucsc (that means I am not in the normal age bracket). I am studying genetics because I would like to work on either: a cure or vaccine for HIV, biophage (instead of anti-biotics) , doubling human life expectancy via genetics. I am looking to find a lab job someplace that I can work at for the next 2.5 years whilst I finish my degree. I am hard working, dedicated and loyal, while also being very honest with people. I like honest direct people. I prefer people who are honest over people who are afraid to be honest because they think it isn't nice to be honest. One can be honest without being mean.
