about me
I'm an Intensive Care nurse and avid lover of life. I am also a female submissive who's enjoying all the new experiences my Journeyman/Sir has shown me since W/we met in 2006.

My hobbies include everything from flying airplanes (got my VFR license at 19) to hunting ghosts and gardening. Fire eating, fire spinning, and contact play are some of my favorites. And, thanks to Don, I'm now also addicted to welding.

And no, I don't have ADHD, I have ADOS (attention defecit....oooh, shiny)

My Recent Activity

Learning about the journey (blog entry) I've been seeing a shaman the past couple of weeks, learning how to do my own journeying for the purpose of meeting my power animals and spirit teachers. I've had two sessions so far and the journeys I've had are profound. Let's just say spirit ... read more

Congratulations, Dr.Mom! (blog entry) I just got back from a visit with my mom, who just graduated with her EdD from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Lots of years of hard work and dedication, it finally paid off! Love you, Mom!

Health Care in the US.... (blog entry) Good Afternoon,

I am writing this to express my sadness and outrage after finally sitting down to watch Sicko. I think I put off watching this film because I knew what it was going to say. Most of you know I'm a critical care nurse, and I hav... read more

The little voices in my head tell me...

I've been seeing a shaman the past couple of weeks, learning how to do my own journeying for the purpose of meeting my power animals and spirit teachers. I've had two sessions so far and the journeys I've had are profound. Let's just say spirit is not hindered by our hang-ups and they're not afraid to show you an honest answer to your questions. My goal in journeying at this time is to work on my own spirituality and improve my communication skills. I also hope in the future to learn how ... read more

Good Afternoon,

I am writing this to express my sadness and outrage after finally sitting down to watch Sicko. I think I put off watching this film because I knew what it was going to say. Most of you know I'm a critical care nurse, and I have had too many patients under my care because they could not afford preventative medicine. I remember one man in particular who had diabetic ulcers on his feet which he could not afford to get treatment for and ended up with a systemic infection whi... read more

Good evening, all,

Since I have spent the last year learning metal arts, welding, and LP flame effects from my wonderful friend and mentor Don Cain with Department of Spontaneous Combustion, I have decided to expand my knowledge of things that go boom. I spent the late afternoon and evening today getting my own personal tour of a pyrotechnics display setup for the baseball stadium down the street and got to stand front and center as the fireworks were set off. I now have a great contact ... read more
