Ahh at last. My favorite holiday is near...But I am dumbfounded for ideas on a costume this season! It's been fun the past few years to have a costume and then do the usual "sexy-girl" spoof on them, but maybe this year I should put all that aside and be something really scary. Krampus, the evil side kick of St. Nicholas in many European countries, is quite tempting.... Or a straight up skeleton perhaps?

Went to this tribute to Slayer, Kiss and Pantera show last weekend with this crazy horror-rock band called Dead by Day. That band was really something to see. I guess the singer does mask/costume making for Hollywood so they all were wearing this pinhead like latex robes and ghoully bald headed masks. It was qutie the performance. The Slayer band sounded just about dead on too!

So I am looking to schedule a trip to the San Juan Islands or Vancouver Island..
Being able to boat right next to Killer Whales sounds like the most amazing experience... I would love to hear more as far as which chain of islands would be more desirable in a short 3 or 4 day trip. Seems to me like Vancouver Isle might be more undeveloped?
