So TrueRaks Sharki dance allows us to go back in time and share the ancient knowledge shared in a tradition of nurture. As women, we dance together to celebrate feminine spirit. We are the sisters of the drum. We step out of the intermediate zone , the DMZ, of this fast paced world where the intellect is king. We step in the natural rhythm of the feminine, and rehearse for life as we rehearse our dance. We see the emotion on each others face as we share joy, sorrow, annoyance, and caring with familiar faces. Married mother of two boys. I have been dancing for about 2 yrs. Just started performing recently with our student troupe.I have found my passion late in life but now the children are older and it is ME TIME!!!!!!! . I am really getting into the swing of things in dance and am having the time of my life. I have an avid interest in everything related to this beautiful dance. I am looking for any and all information I can find. There is sooo much to learn and I am trying to absorb as much as possible........
I have recently been drawn to the pagan and wicca belief systems. I am currently studying the Corellian tradition and feel it is very close to my personal beliefs....I have a love of archaeology and hope to one day actually participate in a dig. Hopefully somewhere in Central America. The Maya and Aztec cultures are incredible......
