from States to Sicily ... and now England ( by M.V. blog )

... from Milano, the soprano (Daniela Di Pippo) and her pianoforte maestro (Luca Burini), invited us for the concert.
God she's a phenomenal singer ...
no, she's exceptional, exquisite, magnificent.
Most of her singing gave me goosebumps, and three times she brought tears to my eyes with her voice -- it was that amazing.
She performed ( after eighteen arias ! ... ) three encores, the last was O Holy Night (this was in wonderful baroque Carmine Church in Francofonte, close to Siracusa),
and you could see others with tears ...
at the end everyone stood and clapped and there were yells of BRAVA BRAVA!!
No wonder she's won all sorts of ... what do you call them, I suppose in the music industry you don't call them "awards" ... internationally.
maestro Luca's pianoforte was wonderful as well -- and it was easy to see why he's gotten so many of the whaddyacallits as well.
they've performed in the States as well as all over the world ...
If anyone ever has a chance to hear them, you should.
