The car seemed to respond with a smoother idle and more power. I put a clear plastic bottle with water in it in the cupholder and watched the ripples created when the car idled. There were fewer ripples with the hydrogen on than there were with it off and it felt smoother. The extra power could be my optimism so that part of my observation should be considered speculative. Hydrogen Generators are said to boost fuel economy by supplementing gasoline with hydrogen. The generator uses water and a catalyst to produce hydrogen and oxygen using electrolysis, the hydrogen and oxygen mixture is then fed into the air cleaner. The car's engine computer then senses a rich condition and leans out the gasoline mixture as a result.
