Lets see......two active boys, a great husband, a dog, and a female betta, and a really weird cat completes my little family. I started taking bellydance classes from Ayesha about seven years ago and loved it but childcare issues dictated I stop for a while. Another child and six years later I started taking classes again (this time with the childcare issue taken care of) and this time the bellydance bug bit me really hard! Just about any spare moment I have is dedicated to bellydance and is so gratifying that I have so many sisters (and a few brothers) here that feel the same way. My other hobbies keep me busy too (hey, anything to get out of housework!); I love writing *ahem* erotica of the paranormal nature, sewing ANYTHING, crochet and jewelry making.

Fringalicious!
Here's the fringe I'll be putting on my belt and bra...it matches the fabric perfectly and there's enough for the belt (YAY!) with a couple of inches left over. I'm debating about the design...whether to go simple or to bling it out. More than likely it'll be simple, capitalizing on the pretty fabric and intense color. More than likely I'll be wearing this set with a beledi dress as I'm so self conscious of my stomach.

Sapphire blue goodness!
Here is the fabric I'm planning on covering the belt and bra base...it's a gorgeous sapphire blue with matching iridescent beads and sequins. It's actually an evening gown and it has attached fringe I'll be using after shoring it up with button thread.

Ain't she pretty?
So, it's been months later and I've finally gotten back to the bronze bedlah. I've removed all the beads and sequins, leaving the original fabric. I'll just cover it as it after I get rid of the little threads sticking out everywhere. I've made new straps, a center connecting piece for the cups, and I plan on using a couple of strips of buchram to back the seams that are making the cups kind of pointy, rounding them out after I stich the suckers down. My latest 'project'
Ack! Who knew it would be so hard to find something to match this top? I've combed eBay, Bhuz, and I've emailed Moondance (where it came from) to ask if they have the matching belt. I'd love to wear this as it fits like a glove and it's comfortable. Pretty please....everyone check your closets....I have paypal!

Sequin therapy....STAT!
Sequins are missing all over the place on this set, though not as many as some of you have probably seen. I'd appreciate your comments, suggestions, and sources for supplies as I'll probably need some to complete this project. My camera thought I was taking a photo of the table, so my apologies for the blurriness. Stay tuned for more entries......
