Just moved to NYC 4/'05. Got the job,apt. and have settled in enough to return to my at home musical therapy sessions.
Prior to our move I was involved in a old school punk/drunk band in Buffalo called The Painkillers.The band more or less degenerated but I've allways been active w/ my own one man band recording thing. I package a cd/tape and give it to family or friends weather they like it or not. Like I said before its cheap therapy. "If you gotta
scream doit in a recordin machine".
I try an keep the music simple an basic.I dont use a computer cause I SUCK at technology.Usually its bass,guitar,voc.,drum machine using a Roland 8-track.
My stuff would fit in the catagory of punk,jazz,dance.Think Frank
Zappa meets Iggy Pop some times meets Erasure.
I think of it as a serious joke and if you get it well .....good for you.
