The most important part of my artwork is divided in two parts:
• Birds
• human faces,
Birds symbolise the travelling i did and faces are what i have memorised during my life,
I always tried to search when i am painting those faces to see the best of humanity.
Since i was child i always believe on humanity but i allways was disappointed by the behaviour,
And i still believe....
Then when i was about 18 years old i started to travel thinking and searching a better world we can notice that my painting reflect Africa
the birds, the faces and the trees also.
The dark part of my artwork i suppose the similarity is related with my youthness,i was less than ten years and we use to live in north of
France near the Belgian border. I was walking through the forest to join a little city then i enter to churches and admired these old paintings from
Rombouts and Rubens and some other paintings with the black background and black frame witch were very awesome.
I did many professions in my life and in several countries, but i always went back to painting.
I think that art painting fits to me the best cause i see people when i want and i feel free.
I have never cared if it is difficult to earn money with art.
