Okay, I was just reading an article on Yahoo! news about the issue of same sex marriage. While I am firmly hetero I don't think that same sex couples should be barred from some sort of civil union and the legal rights and benefits bestowed by that union. Now whether you want to call this "Marriage" or not, I don't really care; as long as it's equal rights under the law.

Okay, a bunch of my friends over on the "Harry Potter Uber Fanatics" tribe are doing this silly thing... they're naming themselves after characters from the HP books, and using avatars to match in honor of the upcoming release of the new Harry Potter book.

So, in that vein, I'm joining in for a little while... who knows, it might be fun. :-)
