I could say I placed third in the Winner's Circle contest... but attendance was very slim this year, an there were only three contestants. Sixty Minute Plus Contest and the Championship ... well... I didn't place last in either one, but I didn't place, either. But... it was good competition. All winners were guys that I was just as happy to see win as if I'd won m'self. Pipe Smoking contest? I've got a lot of stuff to round up before June 19. Here we go again, but at least it's only 6-1/2 hours to home, rather than 20! That's a little more do-able.

In the city, I feel crowded. In the country, I can't make a living to support me & mine. I work in engineering and feel guilty that I do not produce more works of art. Maybe it's just the discouragement talking today. I am getting bummed... Looking for work from a rural area. Here? Can't earn enough to live.
