there are kits that NOS supplies called "purge kits" that add a buildup in your manifold and allow you to burn a second or two of nitrous out your exhaust can....theyre usually used for performance import cars, but I dont see why you couldnt do it...

wd40 or starter fluid works the same as propane...itll rev up when you spray it and it gets sucked into the leak, and you wont have any worries about exploding...lol
