any ideas (in DIY/ Bellydance on a Budget) I'm making a tribal costume inspired off of snow. I have the belt done and i really want to continue with my silver, baby blue and white scheme. I just have no idea what to do about the bra or what to wear under the belt. Any ideas??

Re: Nooooooooooo..... (in DIY/ Bellydance on a Budget) ok take an iron and a damp paper towel to it. Just turn it over so you have the back of the fabric. Lay the damp paper towel on both sides and iron one side. Keep moving the towel until you get all the glue off of it. really simple. you're pretty ... read more

A bunch of us are meeting up at sahara cafe for food laughs and BD talk. Sahara is on beach blvd right by the 9a over pass. Come on in and look for me. I'll be wearing a black tank top jeans and my arm cuff. Trust me you wont miss it the thing is huge!!

My entire tribe Firestom and hopefully others will be going up to sahara cafe on beach blvd. We're hoping to get a bunch of dancers that are local up there to see if we can maybe do a monthly or bi weekly thing here in town. Our goal is to get everyone together and really build a scene for it here in jacksonville. I know there are tons of us out there but we miss events and theres no one place to meet. It'd just be nice to meet other dancers and such.

Hello all.

Please support you sisters in the UK. We are now banned from purchasing dance swords.

Sad news I'm afraid. I have just spoken to Jonathan Batt, at the home office who has confirmed that we (belly and tribal dancers in the UK) are covered in the VCR (Violent Crimes Reduction Bill).
As Belly dancers, we are not covered in the exemptions of being classed as a 'sporting activity' or a Historical reenactment. While we can perform with our existing swords, if you have public li... read more

I'm currently selling some medallions i've made and will be making more of. They are giant mirrors about 2" and have beads (any color you like) around them with cowrie shells lining that. I can even etch pics into the mirrors. Below are an example. I'm selling them for 8 a piece or 2 for 12.
