David has been a very supportive friend since 1994. He has been a mentor, father-figure, and most of all, someone I could trust in the most difficult of situations. He has helped me through some very wretched times and been there for me when I felt no one else was. He is probably one of the most intelligent people I've ever met, as reflected in his significantly above average IQ score. He has a wide range of interests and has a way of creating magical tranformative experiences from the darkest of human tragedies. I don't know what I would have done without him. Even though he can get irritated with me at times, since he claims I'm too extroverted, David has been more than patient with my shortcomings as a human being.
