My Burning Man 2008 HIV experience

So I was a BM virgin this past year. I had a wonderful time. Two volunteer opportunities that called to me were Safe Sex Camp and B.E.D.(Bureau of Erotic Discourse). SSC needed safe sex kit passer outers so I handed out kits to participants at BED's sex positive rape prevention workshops. For the event I ordered a white tshirt online that just had HIV+ written across it in big bold letters. I thought it would be an excellent way to bring up safe sex ... read more

I have read before that the core of one's personality is pretty much set in stone around age 25. How you think, act, ways of being, your integrity, how you are in relationships... at age 25, is how you will pretty much be for life. It's best to get yo shit right before you hit 25.

My Father! Passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by family. After an early heart attack, quadruple-bypass, emphysema, COPD, 2 years of many hospitalizations, cancer of the esophagus, and 50 some years of smoking he finally succumbed to a lung infection. Happily, he pretty much had his mind and personality intact up till the near end. I luckily was able to spend some very good time with him.
