Desdemona is a bellydancer based in southern California. She has performed in festivals, showcases, haflas, club events, and weddings throughout California and in Las Vegas. Her personal style is rooted in tribal and world fusion bellydance with influences from cabaret and often utilizes sword, single and double veil, and sais.

I finished designing my website. It's been a fun, wild ride. My last webpage was over a *decade* ago. HTML has come a long way since then and there are these magical things called cascading style sheets. So, I'm pretty proud of what I've accomplished. I'll probably continue working on it, maybe even playing a little more with photoshop and making some graphics. But, for now, it's time to declare it finished and make it live!!

This one's a long one. Amar came into town and we had a showcase of some of our amazing local dancers (and me!). So, I wound up doing veil and sai, which was extremely random (especially the first, my veil was originally just my cover up...). I love dancing to Amar's music!!! :)

www.youtube.com/watch I also got a copy of the new Maduro/Notecrusher from Amar. So, now I have to mix some of that in to my next performance. Whee! It's just good music, go get it!

I won't repost here, just link. It's rather verbose and laden with "awesome"s. Totally deserved. I LOVE Tribal Fest!! Now, I really have to prep my music and costuming for a performance in Vegas tomorrow night and pack for my trip to Ohio!
