I'm just this guy who doesn't quite know what he's doing.

I'm a DJ. I'm a damned good DJ. In fact, DJing, thus far, has turned out to be such a huge passion for me that I wish I could successfully turn it into a way to support myself and the people I love. However I find myself feeling that there's no way to successfully achieve that goal without the impending 'selling out' that seems to accompany financial success as a DJ.

Frustrating.

So instead I'm muddling my way through life, thus far. I'm partially through a computer science degree from the University of Wyoming, which I stopped working on due to a fantastic opportunity, at the time, in the software industry. That went from fantastic to unbelievable. Then, in 2001, the .com implosion happened and it went from unbelievable to unemployable.

The up-side to all this was that I ended up in Santa Barbara, California (in 2000), which over the following years I discovered to be a place of absolute magic. I have met more incredible people, who have become dear to my heart, in Santa Barbara than anywhere I've ever lived, and in the process, it has become what I consider to be home for the rest of my life.

Currently, I'm in Eugene, Oregon with my girlfriend, Thea, who I treasure, while she gets her master's degree at the University of Oregon. At the moment I'm looking desperately for work in what is the third worst job market in the country.

I plan to get my feet under me, then get back to work on my degree (potentially while I'm in Eugene, definitely once I'm back in Santa Barbara). In the process, I'm getting to know new people here in Oregon and slowly but surely networking my way towards getting (DJ) gigs and sharing my brand of quality with the underground.

My heart is big for those with whom I share it.

When I'm focused, I'm a force to be reckoned with.

When I'm drunk I'm obnoxious.
