Scotty is my friend... We have never met and yet I feel as though we have know each other for quite some time... I hope that having not met is retified by that dinner he mentioned... I love his photography, his stores, his jokes... and his compassion... What more does one really need to know... He is kind, good, and thoughtful... He is a loving Grandfather... he is like many of us...he is human not without fualts, sadness, warmth, and affection. I think his virtues out weigh any "bad qualities?" I can't think of...LOL...

It's Music hath charm to soothe the savage breast....

William Congreve wrote:

'Music hath charm to soothe the savage breast,
to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak,
I have read that things inanimate moved,
And as with living souls have been informed,
By magic numbers and persuasive sound.'

I have spent my whole life without the care or attention to natural objects. I have lived most of my life in some quantity of Fakery, Complete disregard of the Facts, Factors so evident to every one else... but me.

When my life seemed so full, when the World seemed to be my Oyster is when I would set to knock it off track some way. Either by falling in or out of love. Getting that dreaded urge to move one, leaving wrecks behind. loves hurt and wondering why, while all the time it was me w... read more

She hadn't flushed and I saw nothing but Crimson colored blood in the bowl. She was very pale and light headed so I packed her up and rushed her to Emergency room. They got her in to a bed after an hour or so. then they checked this and that, drew blood... Decided to do more tests and admitted her.

So here we are again waiting to see if she n... read more

The White Ship

“The white ship has sailed and left me here again
Out in the mist, I was so near again
Sailing on the sea of dreams
How far away it seems
Sailing upon the white ship”

I have felt a lot lately that I have missed the boat, I was never ambitious enough to really try to exceed in any thing I have done. Oh I did learn a trade and ran a couple of small businesses with minor successes. I just never did shine at any one thing. Just never cared to be the best, or the fastest... read more
