Scotty is my friend... We have never met and yet I feel as though we have know each other for quite some time... I hope that having not met is retified by that dinner he mentioned... I love his photography, his stores, his jokes... and his compassion... What more does one really need to know... He is kind, good, and thoughtful... He is a loving Grandfather... he is like many of us...he is human not without fualts, sadness, warmth, and affection. I think his virtues out weigh any "bad qualities?" I can't think of...LOL...

A lesson learned is a lesson earned!
DUH...........DID I DO THAT?
The company that released contaminated flu virus material from a plant in Austria confirmed Friday that the experimental product contained live H5N1 avian flu viruses.

The Practice of Joy in the Face of Death
by Georges Bataille
"All that I am, and want to be:
Simultaneously dove, snake and pig." (Nietzsche)
“I abandon myself to peace, to the point of annihilation.”
“The sounds of struggle dissolve into death, like rivers into the sea, like the sparkle of stars into the night.
“The strength of combat is fulfilled in the silence of all action.
“I enter peace as into a dark unknown.
“I sink into this dark unknown.

Who Am I... Lyrics by Country Joe McDonald
Who am I
To stand and wonder, to wait
While the wheels of fate
Slowly grind my life away.
Who am I ?
There were some things that I loved one time,
But the dreams are gone that I thought were mine,
And the hidden tears that once could fall
Now burn inside at the thought of all
The years of waste, the years of cryin'
The passions of a heart so blind;
To think that, but even still
As I stand exposed, the feelings are felt
And I cry int...

'I'll tell you one thing, if things
Keep going the way they are,
it's going to be impossible to
Buy a week's groceries for
$10.00.
'Have you seen the new cars
Coming out next year? It won't
Be long before $1, 000.00 will
Only buy a used one.
'If cigarettes keep going up in
Price, I'm going to quit. 20 cents
A pack is ridiculous.
'Did you hear the post office is
Thinking about charging 7 cents
Just to mail a letter
'If they raise the minimum wag...
