Zen meditation is one of the most interesting and profound Japanese cultural experiences. You can try Zen meditation at Shunkoin Temple after enjoying a temple tour with detailed English instructions by the temple's vice abbot. You will learn about traditional Japaense art and garden design, as well as the temple's historical background. After the tour, you can have a chance to seek for inner peace during a 45-min. Zen meditation session. A bowl of maccha green tea and Japanese sweets will be served at the end of the session.
