A woman ahead of the times. I was born and raised in the USA. Born in New York, raised in .... and educated in Boston. Then I came across the great lake to the "old world." I was a journalist in France and Germany. Now I just finished my masters degree at Stockholm School of Economics and started my own company, Innovatrice Consulting.

My Blog

Hey,

Changing VISA stuff, thus supprisingly back in the USA for 3 month. Not exactly the most happening place on Earth, but there is pretty nature and it is quiet. Actually, it sometimes drives me crazy!!!!!! Stepford Wives (the first one) was filmed in my town. I got up this morning and really missed Stockholm and the KGB Bar. My friend Mike, who lives here, visited me and came to KGB. He thought it was awsome as well. That is all...... otherwise thank god for Skype.

My boxes are sort of packed. I gave away my novels to my friend. I sorted out all the stuff I will throw out. I am giving more than half my clothes to Svenska Kyrkan for charity. Clothes and books should never be thrown out. My friend's boyfriend is moving into my apartment October 1. This is my last Sunday here!!!!! Going through papers, documents, etc. I am realizing how much I learned during my two years here. My phone rings a lot, so I realize how many friends I made. It is hard to leav... read more

We saw that our right wing compatriots have downsized government so much that we are less able to respond to a disaster- natural or ... read more

Well, it looks like I might be moving to Berlin or Lausanne. YEAH! and WAAAH! Leaving Stockholm, but going to a great opportunity.

I still have a project here, but will leave by October. It is bitter sweet. After 2 years, I have come to look at Stockholm as home and learned Svenska. Jag talar bra Svenska.

Sweden is such a beautiful country. Here are photos of me and my boyfriend at Midsummer. We went to Dalarna, the heartland of Sweden. The photo of me was taken at a Midsummer buffet in Tallberg. The photo of my boyfriend was taken at our cabin. Swedish Midsummer is one of the most important traditions in the Swedish year. The white nights up here are absolutely beautiful. Scandinavian summers are something special. I am sad that I will miss so much of it in Berlin.
