[THE SIGN]

Then, as I fell, I heard Tessie's soft cry and her spirit fled to God, and even while falling I longed to follow her, for I knew that the King in Yellow had opened his tattered mantle and there was only Christ to cry to now.

[THE QUEEN, THE CURSE]

Night fell and the hours dragged on, but still we murmured to each other of the King and the Pallid Mask, and midnight sounded from the misty spires in the fog-wrapped city. We spoke of Hastur and of Cassilda... - R.Chambers, The Yellow Sign

[THE TATTERS AND RIBBONS]

I have no idea how this happened by I suddenly got freezing cold last night and now I feel like total crap. My body is achey, I'm FREEZING, and I'm so disoriented I can't read.

If anyone was thinking of calling me today, please do not. I'm incapable of focus and my mood is embarrassing.

I hate the spring. I never get this sick in the winter or fall.

I just need to state for the record, that both National Geographic Magazine and Italian Wedding Soup are awesome.

First of all, National Geographic. I mean, come on. Can you get a better magazine for less? It's glossy, the ads aren't oppressive, it's not filled with self-indulgent (hehe... I love that i used the term "self-indulgent" in my blog. Hypocrisy rocks) blah blah blah, and it's only 34$ for a year's subscription. My mom and dad give me my subscription every year on my birthday (fo... read more

What in the fuck is up with people interrupting you when you are reading?

There seems to be some sort of belief, or mutation of etiquette, that makes people think that people who are reading in public are only reading because they don’t have anyone to talk to.

This is not true.

In fact, when I am reading, I would prefer if someone would look at the cover of my book and consider if they could POSSIBLY have something to say that is more interesting than what I am reading. I mean reall... read more

I found a mint copy of the Merhige's Begotten DVD today for less than thirty bucks (it was actually 29.99 and more with shipping but all the commercials say "Less than 30 dollars" so I'm gonna use the same shitty capitalist language to make it seem I got a really good deal instead of just a good one) from a small private distributor in Los Angeles.

So, please don't send me anymore links to sites where it's available. Thanks again to the people who sent me links.

Okay. I used to own a copy of this film on VHS. It is one of my favorite films. I recently tried to purchase it on DVD and allegedly it is extremely rare and sells for a decent chunk of change ($50 to $120 for the DVD).

If anyone knows of a place I can get a NON-BOOTLEG copy of this film for less than $50, I'd be eternally grateful.

I'll probably have an opportunity to get it in the spring, but I'd rather not wait.
