I painted this Triptych for the Touch art auction. I am really excited about this new series... the three sold at the art auctio (thanks, Vertumnus) and that REALLY lit a fire under my ass. I am so inspired! Yippeeee!

Sam is a great hugger and a great kisser and super sexy - in fact his fiance Kristen is also super sexy so to be with the two of them together is a double whammy!
In addition, they 've gone out of their way to include this new burner in their circle and adventures which is seriously much appreciated and let me tell you I am purrrr-ing!

Well actually, they bring out the best in each other.
I am blessed to have a friend like him. He is multi-talented and smart.
What I respect most about him is his obvious undying devotion towards that sexy lady he loves.
Everytime I see Sam, he is full of hugs, kisses, warmth and more complements than any woman needs (but no one is complaining). I hope to still have this man as a part of my life for years and years and years and years to come.

I type slowly with my right! He was born right on schedule at home in a birthing tub with two midwives - Erin and Julia, our doula - Aimee, and our good friend Claire Anderson present. So it looks as though my plans to readjust my internal clock by staying up for 2 days in a row and then succumbing to complete exhaustion and sleeping through a solid night don’t pan out. I wake up at 5:45 am and forced myself to doze until 9:00 am. I get out of bed and, after a quick shower, I head down to meet the rest of the band for the hotel's complementary breakfast.

I am traveling in China with my band, the Roma Swing Ensemble, to spread the good word of Romanian-Gypsy-Jazz to the people of China. I never would have guessed that the Chinese would be big fans of Romanian music, but I guess it makes sense with both countries having that shared Communist bond. Wow, what a fun and beautiful city this here Portland. We (the Lache Cercel Roma Swing Ensemble) just played a super fun show at the Fez. A fun whacky room with a great crowd and so many fun bands. We shared the stage with a Gypsy Brass band calles the Krebsic Orkestar and a Romanian Gypsy quartet from Seattle called Ensemble Submasa. It was such a great night! We even got a chance to swing into Powell's Bookstore for an hour before the show - more tomorrow.
