This is my stepdaughter Katie in her first public appearance in Tribal, doesn't she look AWWESOME!!!!!!!! I was really proud of her, she didn't flinch once and pulled it off with beauty and grace!

I met this wonderful woman while in Eureka. Val is a perfomance artist and writes children's books. She is a total blast, well you can probably tell this! :)

Denver Black Arts Festival

A BIG THANKS to my sister Bea for inviting me to join her in the parade at the Black Arts Festival in Denver this past week. Met another lovely lady Karen or Indigo, she was a blast. We had a photo shoot and then went on to the parade. This is a shot my husband took after the parade.

My buddy Bea wanted a pic of Rexer and I on vacation so here is a good one. We were crusin' around Beaver Lake in Eureka with some buds havin' a blast. Good times. Check out Rex's redneck hat that a guy at the marina gave him, it's a hoot!

Just thought you guys might enjoy seeing my little piece of heaven! This is where I aspire to retire to. Eureka is the coolest place around, it is a mini San Francisco without the tax base! :) Some info that might interest you all. Eureka is the third largest artist community in the United States and is also the largest consolidation of Victorian architecture in the central United States. It is named Eureka Springs because everywhere you look there are these wonderful springs and waterfalls....... ahhhh HEAVEN!
