Print Photos from Your Photo Album! With the help of the printing company QOOP, we've kicked off a new feature that lets you print photos from your photo album on Tribe. * How It Works It's really simple. Any public photos you've uploaded to your personal Tribe photo album are only a few clicks away from being printed. We've made it so you can print your favorite pics without going through the hassle of uploading them to another site! Just sign in, view your photo album, and click the "order prints" link on the top of the page (see picture at left). * What You Can Print Starting today, you can print photo books of various sizes and 13.5" x 19" posters. The posters and the books can contain as many of your photos as you'd like, and you choose what's included. Finally, you can send your secret crush an enormous picture of your exceptionally gorgeous self. Keep in mind, though, your prints will look their best if you use the highest resolution photos that you possibly can. Coming Up Within a few weeks you'll also be able to get individual prints of your photos and even postcards that you can share with all your friends!

addons.mozilla.org/extensio...einfo.php (1) download adblock (i think there are glitches unless you have FF1.5) (2) right-click on "adblock is enabled" in lower right corner of browser window. on any page, you should be able to find out what images are blockable. if it says "ad" in any of the urls, add to your filter. or just right click and copy and paste each of the urls below: oascentral.tribe.net/RealMed...!Middle1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pag...s.js images.tribe.net/tribe/js/Adserver.js there could be more, i'm not a computer techie. but you get the point, add as you go. i don't see anything but the beautiful new look . . . makes the tribe even more white but hey, it's better than white with ads being the most noticeable elements on the page . . .
tribe gave itself a pretty broad license for all copyrighted works posted to the site. following an outcry from members, tribe went back to "re-write" the tou - but it hasn't really changed in substance a whole lot and basically TRIBE HAS THE RIGHT TO DO ANYTHING it wants with any copyrighted materials posted to the site. the only SUBSTANTIVE changes are the addition of "personal use" for the public and "except that any content deleted from the Tribe site will terminate the Tribe license" TRIBE hasn't otherwise changed the scope of ITS license which still is

"a perpetual license to use, copy, distribute, display, perform, and modify any and all content that you post on the Service" even though many people, including some members of lawyer tribes on the board, suggested tribe could CYA (i have nothing against that) by limiting the license scope to operational use or promotional use or other functional uses - tribe decided not to limit themselves that way. sounds like TRIBE wants to capitalize on stuff posted here and not just by association. oh, yeah, and they also say they don't need to pay you for using your content no matter how it's used.
all the ones going internationally shipped off (ok, so the ones to england be late by a day or two - does RM deliver on boxing day? probably not, they're good about holidays). i just came back from getting the very last present for my best friend ~ everyone else is taken care of.

i try to be as careful as possible about what i eat and use on my body but am certainly not a hardcore-everything-must-be-organic-etc type, but this is a bit sobering - can't wait to see the underlying study (as opposed to the journalistic mini-bite):
