I'd say Aries is way better for Physics which could be applied more to large scale things like Civil Engineering whereas Aquarius is way more mechanically oriented. Just my thoughts.

Re: Asc-Desc axis geometry question
(in Astrology)
Man, it took me a while after reading that to realize I had been wondering the same thing for years.
The reason a lot of charts don't show the Midheaven directly at the top has a lot to do with the correction of the Asc Dsc axis to look like it ... read more discussion post on Tue, November 24, 2009 - 9:45 PM
Re: Stargazing
(in Zodiac Tribe)
You can see Jupiter every night for the next couple of months. It's so bright you could probably see in in downtown Manhattan on a cloudy night! To be honest if you can only see one star at night, that's more than likely it.

Re: Stargazing

You could see the crescent Moon right above Jupiter last night, it looked very cool. Jupiter will in the highest point of the sky every night a just after sunset for a while more. Since its so bright it will almost always be the first "star" visib...

Re: Aquarian Rulership..Saturn or Uranus?
(in Astrology)
I find the period from 1988 to 1993 really interesting because Uranus and Neptune were involved in several alignments leading up to the conjunction in 1993. Coincided with all sorts of stuff like the Berlin Wall coming down and other events relate...

This Thursday saw Saturn begin its 2-3 year transit of the sign the celestial Virgin. The planetary Grim reaper, bringer of delays and tests was accompanied a day later by a New Moon in Virgo, kickstarting Saturn's 2-3 year transit of Sidereal Virgo. Traditionally the sign of focus on health and service, of concentrating on microscopic details an... read more
The sun was beginning to descend into a low band of cloud as we pulled into the park's western entrance. I had a car full of girls all dressed up and ready for a night of exotic dancing and pounding rhythms. My wife strained to look for her friend by the cancer memorial inside the entrance, where she had arranged to meet her.

It's almost 100 degrees farenheit, near zero humidity, and I'm pushing a throbbing Toro through about an acre of overgrown lawn. As an ecologically minded person (I like to think), this kind of scenario drives me crazy. Here I am in an 'oasis' in the middle of a desert, mowing through an artificially induced wilderness of various grasses and weeds. Don't get me wrong, this work has its merits, and I am well protected from the sun in a wide brimmed hat and a ligh... read more
The day we had long been waiting for started out pretty much like any other. At 6am I awoke wondering if I had missed the alarm, but an aching bladder put paid to any thought of a weekend lie in. After a bit of pseudo-yoga stretching and kitchen chair push-ups I heard my wife's phone alarm go off, wondering what she had to get up for on this Saturday morning. When I came in to check on her a disapproving glance sent me hurrying to wake the sleeping Kindergartner in the other room. Half an hou...
