I am a performer and teacher of Middle Eastern/N. African and Turkish style percussion in the UK. Predominantly self taught over the last 15 years, I have been lucky enough to take tuition from many fine players including Hossam Ramzy, Hassan Erraji, Sulieman Warwar, Amer Matri, Salah Dawson Miller, Tim Garside, Erez Monk, Numan Elyer and others. I play in several bands performing traditional music as well as fusion styles, I teach nationally across the UK and run drum, dance and music holidays in Egypt.
