Let's see...I guess I'll start here...I was born and raised in Houston and I'll never go back...too much pollution, too much humidity, too much traffic....just too much.
I got a B.A. in Marketing from University of Houston in '91 and then fell into graphic design a few years later. I started at the bottom and worked my up through a few advertising agencies over the next few years. Then in 2000, I left Houston and moved to Fort Worth. I got a job for an online agency in Fort Worth, designing and building websites, that I loved. I worked there for 2 years, then September 11th happened. After layoffs and paycuts, I was the only one left...left doing all the work for less money...ugh. Well now it's better...I'm working as a Creative Director at a pharmacuetical company based in Frisco, plus doing some freelance design as well. And, I've recently found out that I'll be moving jobs....working as Director of Marketing for Best Maid Products.
