There's a feral cat in the area that keeps beating up on Gordon.* We are trying to arrange to trap it and have it fixed, but that's surprisingly hard to do when you don't have access to a car. You can rent a car and get a humane trap (hard to transport on a motorcycle even when empty) , but there is no telling how many days it will take to get the cat in the trap, so you can't just keep the rental car. Just learned that I got the Ardella Mills Prize for Undergrad Creative Non-Fiction again this year. W00t! $75 more dollars for me.
