there is a book out there called (I think) "The Descent of Inanna" that talks about her descent into the underworld. It is one of the first myths that is associated with us queers. you should check it out.

Week 4 of deeper rune studies has begun, and it has been interesting. All the reading I did prior to this, only now to find out, I still see more books that I long to get. Rune Might by Edred Thorrson. I knew he had more. I lust for it. I think I want the whole set of all his publications about Rune stuff. I also got the idea of creating a set for every futhark (or futhorc, but that one nears completion) so that means a younger row, and perhaps an armanen set. That would be neat, me thinks.

For those of who don't know, Bakersfield is in the Central Valley of California, which is our major agricultural center for the US and perhaps the world. The queer brothers and sisters who live there struggle alot, as it is not as open as the major metropolitan centers of SF and LA(which it is inbetween). Please considering making a donation.
So, yesterday Afternoon, I made a rushed trip to San Diego. I left as soon as I got off work at 1 pm, thereby beating traffic and enjoying a fairly quick drive to that Southern California City. It was really wonderful. The only thing missing was some tunes as I drove. I suppose I should have grabbed my shuffle, but it was great.
