I call her "AWESOME Austin," because that's what she is! She's got it all rolled into one, beauty, intelligence, a great sense of humor, an intense love of life, compassion, excellent communication skills, an enthusiastic interest in the world she lives in, rippling muscles (nice!)...the works! As I observe Austin in social settings, everyone seems to light up as she interacts with them, men swoon, women swoon, she's such a vibrant bee, full of interesting things to say, funny observations and stories, playful enthusiasm, and she's damn cute! To top things off, she is also very polite and considerate, a qualified EMT, bright and educated, and always happy to help others. Moreover, she's very responsible, if she says she's going to do something, she does it. Austin is a keeper! It's an honor and my pleasure to know her. Yay Austin, and thank you!

about me
I am interested in meeting open and loving and socially conscious people who are fun, fun, fun! I am positively brimming with excitement for my life and future right now. Something big is out there for me and I don't know what it is, but I love surprises and look forward to how my life reveals itself. I also believe that our country, world, human race, environment, etc. is at a boiling point and I appreciate awareness and interest by others and the willingness to talk about it. I have more to learn about absolutely everything and I learn the most from open dialog with others. As far as using this sight goes, I enjoy finding out about interesting events and learning more about what makes others tick, but I'm not into random friend collecting, ie: people I met once briefly or not at all. I do not feel validated by a 300+ friends list! I am very into getting to know people but I prefer to do it the old fashioned way, in person rather than relying on written and well thought out information. So if I don't accept a friend or tribe invitation, please do not be offended, it just means that I would like to get to know you a little better in person and I look forward to doing so. I'm just not a huge web geek and don't like to spend my day in front of my computer. Let's go outside!!

I'd like to post this out to Tribe before Craigslist. I'm subletting my room for August and September. If you are in need of housing either one of those months, then details follow.
The rent is cheap at $650. I live in a sunny room with a big bay window on Precita right off of Mission, one block south of Chesar Chavez. Just to put it out there, I'm still looking for a home. So after 3 weeks in my new place, I have to move again. Yes, seriously. It turns out that my new room mates grossly misrepresented themselves.
