Another One Bites the Dust

So, Nader's in Fredericksburg, one of my favorite places to dance (well-paid, well-treated) is closing.
I wish Nader and his family all the best, though I am sorry to see them close and will miss performing there - a great place with zero drama.
I keep thinking this is yet another sign to me to call it "quits".
Yet, I also had my best performance ever when Souhail and Rachid were here. Their music was so inspiring. Maybe I should go out while on top of my game? Not stick around like the Rolling Stones dancing when I'm gray haired and broken?
I'm already heading that direction. I fell down the metro escalator today! For a dancer I truly have no grace. But in my defense it was quite slippery. Feeling very bruised right now. And have a big gig tomorrow night.
Aaahhhh the dance goes on.

Oh Kostana
You have such grace,
and if you are old with no grace, what does that make ME!?!
No, you are still a delicate spring peep... things come and go. It is nice when you get to place where you feel you can give it up; it takes some pressure away. Do what you enjoy... sorry that Nader's, a place you enjoy, won't be there.
But other things will be! One of these days we'll get you up here for workshops.

Of course! I will ALWAYS dance as long as I have 2 feet. Dancing professionally though is a whole different thing.
And trying to make a living at it........

owee! are you ok? I'm sorry Nadar's closed, but I wouldn't take it as a sign. Don't take any signs but what your own heart tells you. And if your heart says dance, why fight it?
