Madison didn't work. So much potential, but no funding, so long wait lists. Also, we recently foud out that Amergin is severely Autistic. Which is why Madison didn't work. Couldn't keep a daycare provider for more than a few months...9, in fact, quit in just over a year. None of the others would even touch it. YAY!!! I finally made it! I got to Madison, WI yesterday evening, spent the night in a hotel, and signed paperwork for my apt this morning...then the kiddies and I went shopping!!! $1700 later, we all have mattresses and bedding (no frames yet...gotta order those), I have this cutsie laptop (hey, I needed a compy and this one was cheap!), we have some basic kitchen stuff, and all is good! Ok, so my son was born blind (retinopathy of prematurity). Being in the situation that I'm currently in, I'm not sure what to do for him...how to raise him and my daughter in an enlightened way and among other awake people with children in similar circumstances.

Ok, so my mom (fundie x-ian) sends me this e-mail about some Christian prison chaplain has a meeting with the prison's various religious chaplains...including a Muslim Immam. So the Christian guy tricks the Muslim guy into saying that Muslims believed that anyone that wasn't muslim should be killed. 1 point for x-ianity. For Pete's sake!

Checked the USGS website today. They have daily updates on Hawaii's vocanic activity. They say that there is nothing to worry about. The 'quakes are normal and happened well away from the volcanos, and the pressure inside the two volcanos has actually been going down for months.
