I have to say Quest is such a sweetheart of a man.
He's not only hot---yes, you are, ask the ladies....
but he's a kindhearted, really good guy. When he
asks you how you are he genuinely wants to know.
I have so enjoyed our many conversations. He was
our neighbor at BM and that was awesome. And I had
the good fortune to spend a whole evening cruising
around the playa with this guy. And he makes a damn
good Sunday morning Bloody Mary! I always love to
see him, collect my Quest hug and see that smile.

I just wanted to take a moment to say how special and rare my birthday was. For those of you who weren’t there, I have never been so touched in my life.

It's been a very long few months out of a very long year, but now, hopefully, I can take a little breather. Dad's been home from the hospital and rehab for about 6 weeks now, he's still weak and he often seems a bit more disoriented than before, but he's stable and slowly gaining a little strength back. I’m sorry I haven’t posted updates about my Dad since I posted about his stroke last summer. I've been putting off getting started on the whole blogging thing because I've been so consumed with creating a new reality in my life.
