Hoon is a secret weapon for the forces of light in the universe... a bit hidden and diminutive perhaps, but never daunted or diminished... a Hooniversal remedy for all ills... How appropriate that Hoon means water, that mystical substance that is the essence of life itself. The life force is strong with this one...

My Blog

When spring came with a sun so strong
the roses burnt.

My shoulders peeled
And my burdens scattered like petals

in every direction

Each a beauty coated in a velvet
delicacy of its own
far beyond
the thorns I could never get passed

I wanted to know
these secrets
Of fortune, who whisper in shifting
Circles
In whirling seasons.

And how the day would fall
Slowly into twilight pools.

I needed to know
The nights’ travels
The dusty roads filled
with broken chari... read more

i woke this morning
and stood in the sun
i searched the comfort of a home
for bread to eat
and beans to soak.
i sat in the window
with green leaves in my lap
and scattered them
some on the carpet
some on the grass.

there is a home
that sits, branched up in the pine
from my window
it looks so far
hidden in the green needles.
i know it is there
and i must look so small,
the house must seem so stuck
-so strange and permanent.

the trees are older than these walls
but fall... read more

mirror of the world
how clear do you crack?
how crisp do you cry
and how do you breath?

the oceans are swirling empty
and forests falling down
your name has been erased
means nothing in our language
though is the very essence of our letters
and your blood speaks of dusted windows
we have painted shut.

where is the war

behind what fence
in what image,
the one stareing back at me
polished and clashing
with the parts
the whole doesnt remember

i am your sister

Tomorrow I will love you
Like another day

I will stand by you
Like another tree

In your forgotten forest

Loosing my leaves
And cloaking myself

In the thoughts
Of growing new ones

I will sit by
Your blue lake
And love the mirror
Of passing clouds
And the water
So deep
Covered with an eye of
sky

Today I will walk
All over the grass
And lay on the sandy shore
I knew the tides once
Before they go
I come back
To you

Bring fish flapping
In the air
And spl... read more

Last night I could not ask the stars
their names;
-the lost shining,
Dancing behind the clouds.

A point of refuge
That rains like the willow;
Weeping by the river.

I’ve tried to keep what I’ve heard
And what I can not say
My heart will hold.

-the secret garden
Always blooming, and
Always wilting.

Always a path
bricked in circles,
Always a mother,
there with a bench
For you to rest.
