What can I say about Joy? Oh, that she embodies her name. That she brings her namesake to everybody she knows. That she is joy - fiery, motivated, understanding, caring, and compassionate.

That I will miss her terribly. She's been my partner in crime for the past two years, from the first poi class we took to our giggly girltalk dinners. She always makes time, even though she's doing a bajillion things. She works harder, plays harder, lives harder, and cares harder than anyone I know.

She's like family to me. She's my fire sister.

Joy radiates from this girl. A loving, gentle heart. A beautiful, graceful dancer - add flames, and YOW! We're going to miss her while she's gettin cuddly with the roos, and look forward to tales of her adventures in another land. Work it, girl!
