Current mood: accomplished!

Last week I was shooting a music video. SOOOO much fun. It was for a remix of David Bowie's "Lets Dance" . The remix was done by a guy named Hi-Tack. The song is in the top 5 in the UK right now.
Its nice to feel like you are exactly where your supposed to be.
It was a lot of work, but it was great. Last night I had to do a green screen shot with a harness and my kitty was so unhappy..harness.ow.
I had to look like I was falling from the sky into quentin's arms.. it was hard to "act" with a green screen, a harness up your bootie, and a bunch of people staring at you whilst a loud and large fan blew underneath my skirt.
Today we were at Trinity all day, in the ballroom. I didn't get to shoot until 9pm, and we were in there until 12. So it was 3 hours of shooting the final scene that I was in. They also had a fashion show scene, and a group dance scene. My friend Marisa was cut, and a lot of dancers actually left, because they weren't available all day. It was pretty crazy.
The story of the video is that Quentin is an alien, he falls from the sky and everywhere he goes, people start dancing. There are 3 major scenes, a subway, an office, and a fashion show. At the fashion show, I end up falling from the sky,,, his alien hot girl counterpart, and we do this crazy duet together, that ends with us doing leaps and a tango kinda thing.
They also put me, Quentin and the camera man on a little tiny lazy suzan and just spun us around to get the scene for when I first fall into his arms, There were 3 guys spinning the thing and they kept getting hit in the head with my shoes.. woops.. it was comical!
They have to do so much post production for this, and it needs to be delivered on the 3rd of August to air on the 5th on MTV Europe.
All in all It was cool to feel like a rockstar!
