happy 2007

Had a fab NYE at Tribe of Frog in Bristol with my mate Hannah, her bf Loz, his mate Sid n my boyfriend Neal. Fab as ever. Just had a wicked weekend too. Neal took me to Queen Elizabeth Park to experience first hand his hobby of downhill mountain biking. It was great, I fell off 3 times and got caked in sopping wet mud, half way through he told me that we'd been doing the advanced courses so I felt even less foolish for falling off. It was very different to your average off road biking experience and quite scary at times, but I loved it. Can't wait to go again despite the battering!

That night was our staff belated christmas meal...and with £200 behind the bar for drinks, fun was ensured. I ended up trying to teach some of my male colleagues some bellydance moves and later had a full on wrestling match with my assistant manager....he apparently has bite marks (oops) ... needless to say Sunday came and I was dead. Hobbling around, with bruises everywhere. I think my body may have invented some new muscles just in order for them to ache like hell!! It hurt but it's going away now... gotta love a good playfight :D

Hope everyone's 2007 has started well and carries on that way! Aim high...be energised... love life...

GODDESS CAMP

~Well, first morning in 4 days that I've woken up in my own bed after spending the weekend at the wonderful Goddess Camp. And what a weekend...brilliant workshops and dancing into the early morning.....my legs...are dead! But it was all worth it, I couldn't have hoped for a friendlier bunch of people. All credit to Louisa for organising such a brilliant event. Hope it becomes an annual event!!

why, my little angel?

If you've ever looked through my pics you may notice a very special and beautiful being called Bella...big, black, hairy and gorgeous....after a month's struggle against a host of ailments she finally gave up the ghost last night after being brought home again from vets...I really thought she'd be ok but at about 1am Mum came and woke me to ask if I wanted to say goodbye....she couldn't see, but when I sat next to her and spoke she lifted her head to me...that was the last thing she really did...I'm so devastated you wouldn't believe, and just needed to offload somewhere....Bless you Bella, rest in peace my little princess...x

Hmmm, so I guess THIS is where I should post my random nonsensical and off topic stuff... BRILLiant....

I doubt how much it'll be looked at but hey, hello there...I'm currently bored after managing to get myself roped into babysitting my youngest bro just cuz everyone else is going out and I have no friends!! Boo. Ok, so I have a few friends but the closest ones emotionally are actually the furthest away physically and it's lonely...and my boyfriend's not here either...

That's why I love Tribe so much. Getting to talk to like minded dance-a-holics, yay! If only they lived a little closer.
