I started hooping in April 2008... Shawn and I were wandering through GG Park and came across a big group of hoopers. I was enthralled and wanted to learn! After some web searches found Crissy of "The Infinite Hoop" teaching nearby to where I live. I was always a really bad dancer, two left feet, etc but after Crissy's classes, with the hoop I feel free, graceful and full of joy. OK I still get lots of bruises but that is just when I get in the way of the hoop, not the hoop hitting me!
