First of all, I agree completely with Bill: Everyone DOES need a friend like Kara. However, the sad fact when it comes to true individuals is that there is only one of them. Thus, although there are not even many people I have ever known that are even very much like Kara (the world would be a far better place if there were), she is certainly an individual, one of a kind and authentic person. She has managed a great feat: to successfully spurn conformity and avoid selling out her vision for an easier life with the herd, and yet remain the kind of person who is truly caring and appreciative of the good in life. For those courageous souls who buck the system, it is always easier to allow the evil of the world to push you into complete skepticism about beauty, truth and goodness altogether, yet Kara continues to successfully remain a true individual and a lover of beauty, truth and wisdom. I will be forever thankful to God that she has been a part of my life, and pray that I never lose contact with her. If she considers you worthy of friendship, count your blessings, for you are blessed.

Kara is one of the most inspiring and creative people I know. She challenges me and encourages me all the time. Everyone needs a friend like Kara. Especially artists.
