Re: Chainmaile jewelry (in DIY/ Bellydance on a Budget) I'm a proud member of the Ringlord forum too. I have two belts and a chainmaille bra. Though the bra and one belt aren't really suited for bellydancing. The belt I have is suited, but doesn't look good yet.
Making chainmaille belts takes a looong... read more

Re: Anyone else put-off by Melodia Designs these days? (in **Official Melodia Design Tribe**) The best thing we can do is find other nice pants. That's marketing, if you rip-off your customers, they'll find business elsewere. It's the best message we can give them. I found some nice designs on etsy, the fit is nothing like melodia but stil... read more

I'm part of a Sultan's Harem! (blog entry) I'm not sure if Harem is the right translation, but a harem is the group of wifes a sultan can have. Could you please help me out and vote? You don't need to put anything more then your e-mail adress, you can even use a fake ones. There is a max of 5 votes per IP, get your other housemates to vote too! (or make up some adresses)

I'm not sure if Harem is the right translation, but a harem is the group of wifes a sultan can have. Last saturday I had another Bellydance gig, we had to perform two dances and before that we would be sitting around the sultan giggling and acting like we were the cutest girls ever, ofcourse! There also was a performer named Kitty, she bellydanced a bit, but that was during her performance which mostly contained fire! It was really awesome to see! She had a firefan, a fire wheel, a few torche... read more

I found out I got a special referral code on Home of poi I get all my poi there. Even though it's on the other side of the world, the shipping costs are still less than within europe. (Isn't that crazy!?) They've got everything you need, and I can surely recommend all the stuff i got there:
- Fluff poi, to practise with. Believe me tennisballs hurt!
- Glow poi, fun to look at, and best if you're just starting out and still want something impressive
- Poi spinning by Michael Kahn: it's very... read more

Thanks to the Tribal Costuming tribe, I finally have a good idea on how to do my costume. And it actually ended up more simple then I would have thought. And the funniest thing is, the people who helped with idea's will probably recognise their tips when it's finished. I even hope to make a good drawing to compare afterwards.
