Toots is a fine lady. She's thoughtful, friendly and honest. I like that she calls me up out of the blue to say hello. I like that she thinks to stop by if she's in the neighborhood or rings up to see if grabbing a bite to eat would be a good idea. I enjoy her company and her realistic outlook on life situations. Ms. D, while taking sabbatical from her glamorous career in espionage and international politics, moonlights as a special-educator. Her tactics in both fields are the same: infiltrate, obfuscate, annihillate. The same cannot be said for her moving boxes ... but who are we to criticize. We are the generation that finds comfort in clinging to that last, unpacked box, which reminds us all of our hobo days, riding the rails, playing harmonica and enjoying Mulligan stew and a nice tin-cup of Thunderbird beneath the interstate overpass.

But seriously: this chick makes me laugh -- she appreciates a finely-honed snarky comment and has one of the most infectious laughs I've encountered in a long while. As soon as I get vaccinated, I plan to spend much more time with her.

I don't know Ms. D very well, but she's a teacher, which I think says a lot. She is corrupting the nation's children. She should be put on trial and sentenced to take hemlock so as to remove her influence from the minds of our precious cannon fodder ... I mean children.
