I grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains and the Prince William Sound of Alaska, presently a land owner in the Matanuska Valley of Alaska and a sailboat Captain in Oakland, California (keep a 40' sloop at Quinn's Marina). I've been a crab boat captain and chief engineer for 13 winters before the million dollar "Dangerous Catch" boats made it famous. At times I'd keep boats running and catching crab and staying afloat, with only my wits, some bailing wire and what ever spare parts I could manufacture. Also a salmon and Halibut commercial fisherman, still during the warm summer months in Alaska. I love to sail the S.F. bay and work at many festivals in Alaska, California, and Nevada. I've been to about 150 Grateful Dead shows with Jerry, and use to be sorta in the inner circle of the family from back in th Haight/Ashbury Dayz. I still attend the Dead, Phil & Friends, Ratdog shows on the west coast as much as possible. I am into alternative energy resources and working on my boat to maximize these resources to sail away to Costa Rica and beyond next winter. I'm a laid back, easy going type of person that has already done the family thing, enjoys to fiquire out and fix things, a masterhandyman and shipwright. I've built and rode Harleys since I was 17 and have ridden with the Angels many times. I'm an advocate of MMJ. I love to have fun and dance my bones off. Don't drink much but enjoy a glass of wine now and again. I Live my Life as an Adventure not as an ordeal. I've had enough adventures to write a book and more still to come.
