Sorry folks... Kendra's been suffering flu-like symptoms, and I've got a wonderful migraine, so it's looking like working isn't an option this weekend. We will be out to pick up stuff we've left on site, and we're going to try for Guild Cup, but working's just not an option, I'm afraid. Sorry, but health is kind of a priority...

It would've been even quicker if I hadn't been explaining it as I went along, so Kendra could learn a bit about the sewing machine. I just need some wadding, a couple buttons and a squeaker now... and then with any luck I'll be able to break someone with my codpiece.

The Project that Ate Thursday is a success. I now have nine grommet pairs down the front of my doublet, all the grommets are couched, and I have a bunch of buttons with loops sewn on, so this weekend, I won't be laced up.

And it ate Thursday because it took basically all DAY to couch eighteen grommets. Hate hate hate...
So, yeah, wife got sick meaning I had to leave. Probably to the good, since I flaked out in the car on the way home. I remember getting off the 710 onto the 60 (you save time going that way westbound) but then the next thing I knew, we were getting off the 10 onto surface roads. Huh.

New look and I Hate Couching Grommets.
