Belly Dance Classes
( community » other ) The Ottoman Trading Company Offers…BELLY DANCE CLASSES!!!
Classes are 1 hour. Classes are always ongoing, and are organized by six week dance sessions for $72 unless otherwise noted. Drop-in rate is $15 per class. Your first class with us is always $12...and you may start classes mid-session if you wish. Wear comfy sport clothing and bring water. You may use our hip belts and finger cymbals for your first class. We dance barefoot on Persian Carpets.

A native of Washington State, I am married to a Turkish engineer, and have traveled to and lived in Turkey off and on for over twenty years.
I fell in love with all of the art, handicraft, and textiles I found in my adopted land and second home, Istanbul. I personally select unique treasures for Ottoman Trading Company, my shop in Country Village in Bothell. With the support of the Seattle area dance community I manage a Belly Dance School. Now the store represents all the major handicraft and art traditions of Turkey, and also has a growing inventory of dance supplies and costuming for Belly Dancers of all styles. Dance events, cultural events, drumming and dance parties in the studio/gift shop make shopping at Ottoman Trading Company a unique experience.
