Every now and then we need to make changes in our lives. Get rid of the people, things and objects in our lives that drag us down, hold us back, make us sad, or tick us off on a regular basis. It's time for me to make some of those changes.
Some of these changes will be seriously noted and some will not. But they will be for the better and make me happier, healthier and wiser. Just bear with me while I do it.

For those of you not in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) here's a heads up about an upcoming workshop.
I will be teaching a two hour workshop in Everett at the Aquaterra Spring Ithra, being held at the Everett Community College on Saturday April 5th at 11:00. For more info you can go to www.antir.sca.org/upcoming/ click on Aquaterra Spring Ithra in the April section and it will take you to the link.

There were so many things that happened this last weekend at ERBC... but I really wanted to tell you all about my favorite moment. I hope you will find it as touching as I did.
Sunday was the Muses (troupe) category and one of the troupes had a mommy with three young daughters in attendence in the audience with their grandmother.

I have to rant! I got in the shower this morning to get ready for work and by the time I had gotten out and gotten dressed they city was in front of my house digging up the street. Both ends of my block are closed. They have heavy equipment parked all around my car.
Did they give us any notice that this was going to happen? NO!!!!!!!! So now it's 30 minutes before I have to go to work and I can't get out!!!!!! I'm PISSED!!!!!!

It's that time of year again!!!!
march 7-9 at the Hawthorn Inn in Arlington, WA.
10 categories to choose from, shopping, open dancing, door prizes and drawings, Sisterhood of the Dance and Behind the Scenes awards, laughing and good friends.
Deadline for registration is February 15, 2008.
Don't forget the call in for Fete Dancing is January 20 at noon. Spaces are limited! This is a great way to perform without competing. Plsease speak with an actual person... don't leave a message...

I absolutely love Melody with all my heart! I love love love love Melody's honesty and her sincere support! To talk to melody makes you feel all happy! I love Melody's desire to learn and study the old school roots of this dance. I admire that Melody is willing to do some real studying and research on BellyDance.
Melody has a zest for entertaining and making audiences smile. She is a beautiful women on stage and off she has one of the most beautiful feminine voices you can imagine.
Please stay sincere, courageous and yourself all thru life melody....

Melody rocks!!!
If you ever get a chance to see her dance you should walk through hot lava, climb high mountains, swim shark infested waters and all of that to get there if you have to.
I've had her at a few of my parties and she is one heck of a hard working entertainer. I've attended her annual Emerald Rain Bellydance Competition. Wow, that's an incredible show as well.
Outside of entertaining she is a caring and tender person. The world needs more Melodys... because there just isn't enough of her to go around.
